When we go camping, we always carry camping cookware for obvious reasons!  We love to fish, and we love to eat what we catch!  Dad taught me to fish when I was about five-years-old.  That man could catch a fish anywhere and anytime.  I remember asking him to throw my pole line out so the fish would think it was him, and I could catch a fish too!  He taught me so much, including how to bait a hook, take the fish off the hook, and clean the fish once I was old enough.

Those lessens have stayed with me throughout the years, and I am now passing them on to my grandchildren.  When we go camping, we all stay in the Coleman tent, and we get up early or go out late to fish!  The six-year-old granddaughter isn't too keen on the getting up early to fish...and it is really hard for her to be still and quite; but, she is learning.

We also include hiking as an outdoor sport to keep the kids busy in-between fishing expeditions.  So far, things are going great!  We are slowly getting the fish and cooking them...very slowly.
