coleman tent, outdoor sportWhen I was a little girl, my family went camping on a regular basis during the summer months.  Boy, did we have fun!  I loved sleeping in our Coleman tent, using the Coleman equipment, the smell of fires burning, food being cooked with Coleman cookware on the Coleman stove...we were just a regular advertisement for Coleman products.  Back then, Coleman was basically the only game in town; but, what a major league team they were!  That was an easy time, a simple time, one full of family values, gatherings, contentment...I have missed those days. 

Then there went our economy...and "the simple life" is back in business!  Isn't it exciting to see so many families going on weekend camping, hiking and boating excursions?  This is indeed the silver lining given us at a time when the need is so strong to pull together, work together, think together and be together!  We are fortunate to still have outstanding Camp Grounds, State and National Parks, as well as the "Mom and Pop" camp grounds. 

Not only do we camp, we are playing outdoor sports.  To some children and teens, this is a new idea...something that pulls them away from their video games.  Parents, children, friends, neighbors and even organizations are getting into the swing of this unique opportunity we have been afforded.  We are lucky...
