Camping Hiking Gear
Each year a group of families, about eight in all, pack up our camping hiking gear, camping cookware, and Coleman tents for a week long camping expedition. There is a beautiful lake near where we live, that is about
three miles into the woods, beside the base of a decent climbing mountain. There is a mix of ages, and we all have an amazaing time. Of course, we are quite tired by the end of the week, but we all have plenty of good stories, pictures, and experiences to talk about until the next year.
Each group has their own job and has to hike in the equipment for that job. My family usually gets the cooking task, because everyone loves my wife's cooking. So, we get to carry in the camping cookware. There
really isn't much, but the added weight is a little uncomfortable. Not quite as bad as the family in charge of setting up camp. They get to carry in eight Coleman tents. I think I'd rather carry in the camping cookware. The weekend is fast approaching and plans are being made. I can tell we're going to have another great time.
