Growing up in the Southwest, you had to have to best equipment to keep your food and beverages cold. My family took our Coleman cooler to every family picnic and get togethers. I remember lugging the huge, dark green steel Coleman cooler to many picnic tables by the lake. The first thing we would do is get something to drink, because by that time we were all dripping wet from setting up the site. That cooler held many containers of food and drink. I was a stickler for keeping the food in the Coleman cooler at all times until we were ready to eat. Even then, as soon as everyone got their food, the food would go right back into the cold storage. I didn’t want any food poisoning on my watch. As time went on, I bought the smaller Coleman cooler for my kids sports games. I seemed to always be the snack mom for practices and games. The beverages always stayed frosty cold for the kids. The Coleman cooler was always a part of our family activities.
